The League of Nations(LoN or The League) is an alliance for all nations who share democratic views. We do not allow dictatorships however monarchy’s are allowed as long as they use a legislation to help involve the common people. The League is led by the Secretary-General who is none other than the Emperor of Golencia(mostly because i want to make sure things et off to a good start). The League is divided up into several sections which will be described later in this post. They are:
Senate
Military Council
General Assembly
International Court of Justice
Treasury Department
The Goal of the LoN is to help protect eachother with military force if neccesarry. The beauty is the League is designed to goto war to help a member, while also helping the economy and overall welfare of our members. I know your thinking o not another alliance, but this one is different. We are not designed to always oppose 1 particular group, but to oopose those who oppose us. Here are the Offices in more detail:
Senate - The Senate is elected by the members, its main purpose is to make new Charters for the League. However Charters are to be followed, but no one can be ejected from the council for disobeying a charter. If they disobey the Charter they can be suspended, fined, or put on Probation. The punishment is up to the ICJ. A Charter can never become a law until it is passed by the General assembly, by 2/3 + 1 vote. The head of the Senate is the Consul, who’s only purpose is to make sure business is conducted orderly and on time. The Consul is elected within the Senate.
Military Council - The Military Council is to decide when the League should step in on foreign affairs with Military Force. The Council is headed by the Emperor of Golencia who is also the Secretary-General. The Council is made up of 5 Members, 2 of which have permanent seats. Cherry Ridge and Golencia. It only takes 2 votes to veto a military action, however the Trusteeship Council will then vote on it. If ordered to do something you must either pay to get out of it or you can be ejected or Banned.
General Assembly - The General Assembly is made up of all members of the League. They elect a President of the General Assembly who presides over them. The President simply conducts business and makes sure all members are aware of any and all new laws/charters. The General assembly may gather together and vote on ejecting a member who has not violated any laws but, is a nuisance for the member nations. The ejected nation can return if 2/3 vote permits him to.
International Court of Justice - The court is responsible for the punishments that are to be carried out within the alliance. They can also help settle disputes between members if necessary. There are the Justices each is appointed by the Secretary-General.
Treasury Department - Its simple task is to keep track of the Money in the Alliance. The Secretary of Treasury is responsible for keeping track of money going in and out of the Treasury.
