Dr. Eggman paced down the giant metallic corridor, followed by a servitor droid, It's large red eye observing it's master.

"The Time has come to begin our search for the Chaos Emeralds! With all of them gathered, we will have the ultimate power source-and a way to get to the stars!"

The Droid turned, confused.

"But Doctor Robtinik, how do we even know where to begin looking?"

"Simple, my simple-headed friend. We use this!"

The Doctor produced a blue shining gem from his pocket.

"A Chaos Emerald? Where did you find that?"

Eggman turned to his droid, speaking seriously.

"When I was a child, I stumbled apon this gem. It was a beauty to behold, and It inspired me... as soon as I was old enough, I learned of the other Chaos Emeralds... 5 more of them. Locating all 6 of them will give us the key to my dream... space travel."

"So how does this Emerald help us to locate the others?"

"Simple. From the ancient scriptures i read on the subject, I learned that when we are close to another Emerald, a glowing reaction will occur in the emerald. The Closer we are, the brighter the shine!"

Eggman headed down towards central control.

"Now, let us prepare for our journey. I will take a few droids with me, for protection. Let us begin the hunt."

The Servitor was attatched to the craft. Behind him, a few AI Fighters followed along.

"Doctor... that Nation below is called The Imperial Navy."

"Hmm..." Eggman punched in a few commands, bringing up info about The Imperial Navy.

"Let' get moving!"

It was just after dark. Within the Imperial Museum of Natural history, within the Geology department, Next to the Moonstones of Arcadia, lay a magnificent Red Jewl. At this moment it began to glow brightly, shining with all the deep reds in the spectrum.

Larry, the security guard, sat drinking coffee... it was now just after midnight.

Eggmans craft smashed through the glass above the museum, noticing a cowering security guard.

"HA HA HA! This is easy!"

A Claw extended from Eggmans Craft, Grabbing the Emerald, and retracting it to Eggmans hand.

"MWAHAHAHA! Only 5 More to go! Now to escape from this Country... probably won't be as easy at it sounds... No doubt they've scrambled defence by now."

Eggman rocketed out of the museum fast and steady. But It would be at least 3 hours before he exited Imperial Airspace.

OOC: Thats a thought... When we get to the Master Emerald, who would like to play as Knuckles the Echidna?

I feel we should include him and his floating island. Oh, and don't worry, that annoying character Chaos will not be in this RP... maybe another time.

Fighter group Blue had been dispatched to investigate un unidentified craft over Imperial Airspace. The Intercom then buzzed.

"All units this is Base one. Unidentified craft has raided museum, Priceless gem reported stolen. Stop and bring the purpotrator to justice."

"This is Blue Squadron responding... On way now."

The group of 3 T.I.D Interceptors roared to life, pursuing the fleeing vehicle.

"Unidentified craft this is Imperial Fighter group blue. Stand down or be shot down."

OOC: Where you off to next... Dr. Egg?

OOC: Err... Trying to escape from Imperial Navy first? Lol.

Eggman Turned on his commlink.

"Now listen very Closely. I am Dr. Robotnik, greatest scientific genius in the world! You have no hope to stop me! Now back off, the Chaos Emerald is mine!"

"Dr! How will we escape!"

"Heh... Don't worry, metal head! Taste this!"

Eggman pulled a leaver. Out of the back of his craft, fell dozens of mines. Highly explosive mines.

"HA HA HA! Full speed!"

IC: Ex-Soviet Strategic Nuclear/Naval Base, nicknamed 'Roshenberg Base' Location: a small island off the northwest coast of Red Tide

On the surface the Roshenberg Base looked like nothing special. The buildings were rundown, the runway was cracked, nothing seemed workable. But underneath was a flurry of activity. This base, you see, was a blank spot on official maps of the area. Underground all sorts of projects were taking place. In one room particular something interseting was happening.

Inside Lab-213, level B-10(lowest level), two scientists watched a enviormental chamber with interest. Inside the enviormental chamber was a large emerald. "Easy with it." One of the scientists said as the wind speed and percipitation inside the chamber rose. "We dont want to break it."

"All fighters! Break formation!"

The three craft erraticly swerved, desperate to avoid the incomming mines... But the 2 other craft were caught and destroyed by the mines... only the squad leader was left.

"Dammit... Didn't we hear about this Eggman guy before?"

"This is base one... Report on target."

Blue leader looked around. There was no sign of him.

"Sir, Target was identified as Dr Eggman. But we... I lost him. he's after somthing called a 'Chaos Emerald.' Any ideas?"

"No... nothing... return to base. base out."

The base leader turned to his phone.

"Get me the Emperor... He's after the Chaos Emerald."

The gas giant sized water world had a darks secret floating within it. Some distance from the ocanic ceiling where light could not go a emrald fload along with crustaion in persute. However, around this open space of water lay the might city of Anagoal. One of Kaminos' most efficant cloning areas.

A young girl saw the emeraled when she peered out of her room, it would be hers.

Deep beneath the crimson sands of the Chronosian homeworld lies a great cave network; subterranean, ancient...Evil

The Marines had been marching for days; lost here, somewhere in the depths, a loose contingent of Imperial Guardsmen with them, they; the last of their Kind. The Imperium had fallen, changed, twisted and morphed from without as they had fled deep into the bowels of the world in fear. They planned, somehow, to combat the forces of Chaos from here, this place of madness...

And then they saw something glimmering in the dark; a shimmering treasure glistening green.
"What is it...?"
"Some kind of gem formation, I think its..."
A roar broke the monotony of the caves; as the marines turned, guns blazing...
And then the Daemons were upon them, and they saw no more

"MWAHAHAHA! Too easy."

"Where to now Dr. Eggman?"

"Back to the Eggman Empire, where we will store the Chaos Emerald. Then we can consider our next move. I will keep the blue on with me, so we can locate our next emerald."

"But Doctor! It will take a day to get all the way home! The Imperial Navy could track us!"

"Thats what you think. Watch this... with two emeralds..."

Eggman clutched an emerald in each hand, and held them upward.

"CHAOS CONTROL!"

There was a bright flash of light that lasted 10 seconds, and then the craft was gone.

OOC: Just to let you know where it is.

IC: In the Palace of the Guildlords, on the highcrag above the underground crystal city of Vas Urbs. Leading to the throne room, where the Shadowlord once ruled his people is a large door surrounded by a massive relief telling of the creation of the nation, which would one day become the Shadows. Above that relief in a crest above the door lies a huge Yellow gem, rumoured to be of huge power and capable of facilitating inter-dimensional travel... however it had been in that same relief for over 300 years now ever since it's discovery in ancient vault below even the underground city... unknown to the Shadows it had been hidden for a reason...

The Emperor put down the phone. He held his head in his hands.

"Summon Grand-Admiral Gregory. I must speak with him now."

A few minutes later

"You Wanted to see me, my Emperor?"

"Yes Gregory. Our worst fear has come true. The Chaos Emerald has been stolen."

"NO! Who did it?"

"Dr. Eggman. Now Gregory, I need you to find him, and I need you to stop him before he gets all the emeralds. If he does... He will awake a terror of ultimate power."

"But how? I don't even know where to begin looking!"

"Thats the thing... If you fail to find the Chaos Emeralds... Try to find the Master Emerald. It has the power to stop the energy of the Chaos Emeralds. I'm counting on you Gregory. We must not allow the energy to be released."

"As you wish, My Emperor."

Grand Admiral Gregory bowed and exited the room. He turned to his Vice-Admiral.

"Summon the Sea Navy. We must prepare to move out."

With a Flash Dr. Eggman re-appeared over the Eggman Empire.

"Right... Let's set things up, then it's off for the next Emerald!"

Eggman Landed on his base, and placed the Emerald within a pressure-sealed chamber.

"When we have 3 Emeralds, Chaos control will allow us to be droped close to the location of the next Emerald."

"How do you know about all this Dr?"

"You ask too many questions. I told you, it was the scriptures and prophocies I read about."

"Sorry Doctor."

"Silence! Let us prepare to move out, and find the next Emerald before we gain too many enemies! This could get ugly."

"Sir, Perhaps it is time we took the Egg Carrier."

"I like the way you think. Ready her for take off at once."

The Egg Carrier Was launched into the air rapidly, Her mighty Jet Engines launching the Vessel forward.

This has gotta be like, the most original idea ever.

Well, no ones thought 'hey lets do Sonic RP:P' I had most of the games....I loved Sonic and Knuckles and how you could combine the different games

IC: The Egg Carrier soared high above the clouds, It's powerful Jet engines pushing forward at a tremendous speed. On board the Egg Carrier, Dr. Robotnik was adding final adustments to his new ground transport-the Egg Walker.

"Robot! Is the Emerald glowing yet?"

"N..N..Not Yet, Dr. Robotnik!

"Keep an eye on it... I want to be ready at a moments notice!"

The Doctor tested his new machine... an excellent job indeed.

"HAHAHA! Excellent! This will keep any trouble makers out of my way!"

"Doctor! It is glowing!"

"What!?! Where are we?"

"We appear to be over a nation called The Merchants Guild, Sir!"

Dr. Eggman walked over to a console and pressed a few buttons.

"Fool! This is merely a colony. Take us down! We shall locate the Emerald, and then we can find the others much more easily!"

The Egg Carrier began to desend. It's automated defences were activated, just in case of resistance.

The Imperial Sea Navy was underway from it's docks. It's mission-To find the Master Emerald, and use it to stop the Chaos Emeralds.

"The Servers are, the seven chaos. Chaos is power, power is controled by the heart. The Controler is the one that Unfies the Chaos..."

"Sir?"

Grand Admiral Gregory shook his head.

"Hmm? ... sorry, I was thinking. What I just said is how to activate the Master Emerald."

"Sir, do we even know where to start looking?"

"Well, I've herd roumors of a humanoid creature... He guards the Master Emerald. Apparently he is a Talking Echidna."

"A TALKING ECHIDNA!?!"

"Hard to believe, isn't it? But it is true. Now we must find a floating island, called Angel Island. If anyone knows where the Emerald is, it will be that echidna. Now set a course for this area..."

The Fleet shot at top speed for the last reported location of Angel Island...

The invisible alarms over Alpha Colony were triggered causing all sorts of things to go off in various control stations. The area was already under heavily Shadow force control due to the presence of the Shadowlord Stra'coth in his overseeing of the Dumpsterdamian refugee's getting settled.

Air Defenses popped up from beneath the surface searching for a target and 30 Spitfire Fighers screeched and took off searching for the cause of intrusion onto Alpha Colony.

They could find nothing... there was something here but where was it...

The Egg Walker paced from within, it's huge bulky legs rapidly pushing the monstrosity forward.

"The Emerald is this way! Let's go!"

The Egg Walker was fitted with all kinds of armaments... some visible, some hidden. The Servitor Droid stared out over the landscape, it's enhanced eyes viewing through the trees.

"There's a building Doctor-I'll bet the Emerald is in there!"

"I didn't create you to bet... The Emerald MUST be in there!"

"So the plan is, to get in there, get the Emerald and get out? Will we still be able to use Chaos Control?"

"I doubt it. The Egg Carrier is much too large, but heavily armed. We should be fine. Let's go get that Emerald!"

The Egg Walker crashed through the undergrowth, smashing trees aside like matchsticks.

Nope... The Seven Chaos Emeralds have the power, the Master Emerald contols the power. That is why it is so valuable. The holder of the Master Emerald can command the Chaos Emeralds without even having them.

The foliage nwas torn asunder by a bright flash of red; something moved through the jungle; faster than the eye could truly see; thorough, methodical.
"Where could it be?" He thought, stilll moving; dread like spikes hanging down his back, as he straightened, adjusting his gloves; brimming with the sheer power of his fists.
"I....have failed" Arage filled the Echidna as he continued on.
"I must find it; someone has taken the Master Emerald...The Island has fallen; and I WILL KILL THEM!"
He rememebred it; a technology and a p[eople he had never seen, the impacts of bullets in walls as he had dodged; before he had ran straight into a rifle butt. He growled, rubbing the bruise, fading on his forehead.
"Perhaps....If I went after the others...then I could find it"

OOC: It's in the central palace, Doc. Thats underground you can go through a rough ride through a vent to find it. You could of course conviently fall through a large vent and fall into the chamber. Which would actually be amusing...

The Egg Walkers legs folded inwards, and wheels emerged from the sides. The cockpit folded inwards, and was covered by a see-through metal plate. A mighty drill folded out from underneath the cockpit, and the transformation was complete.

"Behold, my metal friend. The EGG MOLE!"

Heading for a small vent that he had detected, the Egg Carrier rocketed into the ground, churning the earth and spitting it out behind it. The Blue Emerald began to glow brighter...

"He usually hangs around a Temple. The Temple is normally where the Master Emerald is kept."

The group of wasp droids moved in, Their tranquliser darts armed. Targeting knuckles, they buzzed in and fired Simultaneously.

OOC: Don't worry, they aren't very accurate... very easy to dodge.

Knuckles looked up, and leapt forward, passing between the darts as he felt something graze his skin. He drove his fist through one wast's fragile abdomen, holding on long enough to spin round and force his foot through the others head; both exploded with a squeaky pop, as he landed. Gasping lightly, looking down at the dart imbedded in his arm. He tore it out...

The men drew their guns and fired at the Wasps. They were a threat to the mission, and god dammit they werent gonna fail.

1 badly damaged Wasp managed to get out of range, and struggled to fly away from the island.

"Right. Eggman now has 2 emeralds and is most likely going after number 3. We need to move now, before it's too late."

The Egg Walkers legs folded inwards, and wheels emerged from the sides. The cockpit folded inwards, and was covered by a see-through metal plate. A mighty drill folded out from underneath the cockpit, and the transformation was complete.

"Behold, my metal friend. The EGG MOLE!"

Heading for a small vent that he had detected, the Egg Carrier rocketed into the ground, churning the earth and spitting it out behind it. The Blue Emerald began to glow brighter...

In the main hall leading to the Shadowlord's old throne room a slight rumbling could be heard... the four Bridgeburners looked a little worried... they looked up to see 7 members of the Shadow Brigade in the vaulted ceilings looked as worried at not knowing where this sound was coming from.

Everybody switched safety catches off, clicked crossbow bolts into place and prepared their weaponry generally... something was very wrong...

Above the Alpha Colony... another 30 Spitfire Heavy Fighters had joined the search for the mysterious intruder... their screaming battle cries were torturous to most species due to their high pitch sometimes disrupting ear drums and dislodging ear bones...

There was no sign of any break in nor of any intent at the moment... troops had fanned out over the mountainous forest looking for clues, so far they had found none... Missile and Anti-aircraft batteries couldn't find anything in the sky but the sensors kept monitoring it... they needed to be sure... this was a security breach at a very sensitive time...

The Egg Mole carried onward, pushing earth and dirt aside with ease.

All around the Alpha Colony... Tiste Andii warriors began hastily making their way to the main hall and blocking off all exits... the 60 Spitfire Heavy Fighters began making their way at all speed to the area... they would be there in 2 minutes... the anti-air and missile batteries pointed towards the area... while ground troops doubled back and closed in on the area...

"Doctor!"

"CHAOS CONTROL!"

The Egg Walker vanished in a flash, but quickly reappeared behind the figures firing the crossbow bolts.

The Servitor droid picked crossbow bolts from it's arm.

"I guess they though I was you."

Baring down on the figures, Eggman fired his rockets at one group and simply stepped on another.

"MWAHAHAHA! The Emerald still allows me to use Chaos Control for short distances!"

"Dr. Look! The Emerald!"

Above the doorway, the Yellow Emerald could be seen glowing. Eggman began to head for it.

The Shadow Brigade members looked on with horror as their bolts sunk into the metal arms with no effect... they drew their diamond hardened steel knives and attacked the thing making for the Yellow now glowing Emerald...

Below... a member of the Bridgeburners was blow into the black marble and obsidian walls... his leaking blood staining the area he hit the wall and the floor where he landed like a broken rag doll...

Another two Bridgeburners managed to get out of the way before being stepped on and the three continued their steady stream of energy fire...

They could hear the heavy footfalls of several sections heading their way... they only need to hold for a while longer...

Kicking some out of the way, and ignoring the rest, Eggman reached the large door. His grappling hook extended, removing the Emerald from it's resting place.

"MWAHAHA! Now I have 3 Chaos Emeralds. Now to get out of here!"

Eggman lifted the 2 Emeralds to his side, and chanted the familiar words.

"Back to the Egg Carrier... CHAOS CONTROL!"

The blinding light returned, and the Egg Walker was gone.

The Egg Carriers mighty engines kicked into action, rocketing the structure upwards. with a mighty burst of heat, it began to head away from this land.

10 Spitfire Heavy Fighters were around the area, when the ship came up... they shrieked loudly and attacked the total of 20 Quantum Anti-Matter Bolt cannons firing the dark streams of energy at the ship in a wave of destruction... the 50 others would close soon...

4 Missile batteries also opened fire their 'Sol' missles (OOC: 8 missiles) arching towards the now appeared ship as well as two twin Star-Rattle heavy Machine guns opened up firing rapidly at the ship...

Troops on the ground had also seen and were shooting as well... not great effect of course just it was a point to make...

OOC: You are gonna let me escape, right?

"Launch countermeasures!"

A large number of drones emerged from the Carrier, smashing into a lot of enemy fire, and firing mini laser cannons back at the attacking aircraft. A few shots did get through, smashing into the think armour leaving huge gashes.

"Now lets show them the firepower of the Egg Carrier!"

All 50 Egg Blasters opened fire, with missile launchers screaming into life.

"Prepare to fire the Egg Cannon!"

The ship turned to face it's attackers, and opened a huge port at the front of the ship. From it emerged a gigantic cannon, which powered up a strange blue light... It was powered by the Chaos Emeralds.

The light blasted forth, a massive beam headed right for the small fighters...

OOC: You may feel small pain... :D

OOC: Ofc I am going to let you escape... it's just fun to make it uber hard for you... a bit like on the game... the higher level you go up the harder it gets :D

The laser gouged into the Spitfire fighters but with little physical effect, energy weapons generally didn't work against Shadow vessels unless they were extremely powerful or there were a lot of them.

Then came the missles... now this was a problem for the Shadow craft...

4 Spitfire Fighter succumbed two of which just vanished in a hail of explosions the other two crashed to the ground in spectacular style ploughing huge holes in the wooded mountainous slopes...

Then that cannon shot and another fighter evapourated... the remaining five continued firing but seemed a little more cautious... they hoped their weapons could hurt this damn thing...

"Concentrate missile fire. It seems to be their weakness!"

All 35 Missile launchers blasted into action, while the Egg Cannon once again fired at the scattering fighters.

"We need a distraction. Ready the Egg Bombs!"

"What will that ahchieve sir?"

"Nothing, but I feel we should leave a message-dont mess with the Eggman!"

5 Egg Bombs were released from underneath the egg carrier, falling ever downwards towards the old building they had just been in.

Outside the Egg Carrier, small drones were already at work, repairing the gashes torn in the side of the Egg Carrier... they worked fast and acuratly, even in the face of oncomming fire... the perfect workers.

Another two Spitfire fighters blew up as the missles and cannon impacted... but the others had understood the potential tactic and continued firing, whilst performing rather acrobatic manuovers to avoid incoming bursts of fire... They could see the repairs being made...

The ships and 'The Eye' realised they needed a Battlecrab who could destroy this thing in a single hit of it's death ray. They fired a wave of organisms onto the thing they would imbed the craft with a signal the Shadows could track... which also couldn't be removed without considerable expense in time and effort. They then retreated...

Five Battlecrabs had already been summoned... they would deal with this intuder and recover their Lords possesion once they found out

A) What he was going to do with it

B) Whether it really had any of it's legendary powers..

As for the ground troops... they scattered as the egg bombs descended...

"To hell with this... These people seem to be a major thorn in my side. Let's get out of here-we've done enough damage."

Eggman pressed a button on his console and bough up the airtight canister. Removing the Red Emerald, he clutched them all.

"Time to take us home... CHAOS CONTROL!"

In what could be the brightest light ever, the Egg Carrier blinded the landscape with mystical light, which could be seen for miles apon miles.

When the light faded some 30 seconds later, the Egg Carrier, the Chaos Emeralds, and Eggman were gone.

OOC: I almost forgot I had the Red Emerald stashed away... that's enough power to transport the Egg Carrier-just.

The Egg Carrier started off for The Eggman Empire, and vanished again in a bright light, as chaos control took them closer to home once more.

Boarding the craft, Eggman and his droids started the power up sequence.

The newly constructed retro-lift engines kicked into life, propeling the mighty vessel above the clouds. In a shower of Blue, Red and yellow flames (The colours of the Emeralds), the craft's main engine kicked in, blasting the vessel into speeds faster than ever before.

"Earth orbit established Doctor, we can leave when you are ready!"

A strange Gem has been discovered on planet of Mud 2. It appears to emit a strange sort of energy, and is grey in colour. Reports are sketchy, but we can work out, it has been transferred to the Frigate Flagship, to be transferred to a well protected Research platform in mole space.

Reports suggest a large Space fleet will escort he valuable cargo, Sources in the mole Government tell us that it may provide power for Moleland… forever.

Two blips suddenly appeared on the Shadow Sensors...

The operator grinned 'They found them... but a good thing they don't understand Shadow Tech fully otherwise we might not be able to track them' he said to nobody in particular...

'One of the blips is heading towards us...' he repeated over the link... by now the Shadows had been fully alerted and several hundred Spitfire fighters wheeled and circle as well as an ominious looking Battlecrab hovering over the colony...

He directed the 5 cloaked Battlecrabs with 40 Spitfire's apiece to follow the other Blip... he had spent too long in the various Shadow wars not to fall for that trick...

Eggman listened to the Transmission with interest.

"WHAT?"

"Doctor... there is no way we can take on an entire fleet with one ship!"

"Perhaps... but if it's one thing I've learned from Knuckles, a little trickery can go a long way."

"You mean..."

"I shall have to use my powers of trickery on this one. Use the database and find that station. Then lay in an intercept course!"

"Yes Doctor!"

The Egg Cruiser quickly changed course and headed at ful speed for the next Emerald. Using the Chaos emeralds as power allowed FTL travel...

A heavy escorted Shuttle left the planet of Mud 2 and entered the hanger bay of Frigate Flagship. The escort was only 20 minutes away, but already 8 Modified Corvettes were behind the frigate in a 'V' formation, not to mention the several defence and trade platforms throughout the sector.

'Excellant. When will the fleet led by the MDC explorer arrive to escort us?'

The MUSRUMS followed as the four of them entered a large, heavily protected part of the ship.

A door opened, and contained in an energy field, was the Emerald. 'There, How can we make it safe?'

"Perhaps....The nature of the Chaos emeralds are psionic; they absorb emotion, it feeds them. If this chamber was to get enough power all at once, then perhaps we could focus it on finding the emeralds....but it is mere guesswork."

"Your ships....Perhaps their power could be used"

Eggman paced toward the Emerald, and touched it, feeling it's warm glow.

"So beautiful... You know officer, I am glad you allowed me all this way, as otherwise I would have had to kill you... farewell."

Eggman drew a capsule from his pocket and threw it down, instantly causing bellowing smoke to pour from the canister. Drawing another device from his pocket, he triggered a small EMP on the ship.

"HAHAHA! Fools! You should have scanned me!"

Eggman darted down the corridor, away from the room.

"CHAOS CONTROL!"

Eggman continued to run as the bright light took over...

Tails looked at the Equipment, 'Hmmm... I think I can do something. I'll be a few minutes.'

What followed was overtime of work form Tails. After 20 minutes, a machine was completed. It had hundreds of cables going everywhere, and a large main machine with a button attached.

'Knuckles... Push... the... button...to...start...' ails said panting.

The men of the Imperial fleet had helped manuver the cables into position, while the engineers had helped tails with the gentle calibrations.

"It's ready."

Tails was clearly exausted.

"Rest friend, you've been a busy little fox."

(Before Choas Control was active) MUSRUMs, destroy him! 'Command recieved...' They fired Rockets at Eggman, just as he entered Choas Control. the rockets were Cms away from his head.

Aboard the Chronosian Ship the Emerald began to glow brilliantly, power pouring forht from it.
"Tech-Priest; analyse this energy and then run a scan for more of it....Once we find readings; head towards them, show no mercy!"

"Wow... I was almost toast there. Ok, lets get out of here!"

Eggman placed the Chaos emerald in it's socket on the control panel.

"We need a distraction while we access chaos control again... Fire the Egg Cannon at that frigate! The Cannon is now supercharged!"

The Egg Cannon charged quickly, and a rainbow coloured laser arched towards the Frigate. Following the shot, Chaos control began to surround the Egg Cruiser... it was about to vanish again.

On a moon orbiting the Industrial planet of C'Ha'Dum in the Home system of the Shadows, a large black series of structures could be seen. These were part of the huge Shadow Communication, Relay and Sensory network, whose power existed over most of the galaxy, allowing the Shadows to control their ships using 'The Eye' from their Empire.

The tracking had been handed over to these relays, they had been monitoring the signal given off by the contact with Shadow tech that the Eggman himself and his vehicles had had. It was almost contagious they would know where he was personally at all times unless he crossed into one of the Empires/worlds, which had sufficently powerful systems to block the Shadow's secretive network...

The Talon watched this with interest... the theif had become one of the top 5 priorities on the Empire. The Shadow's campaigns had even been put on hold til this man and the Emeralds had been captured.

They would be theres... they were already showing their power... the 5 ships had been joined by an additonal 45... the Shadows wanted these desperately... their power would give them a nice source of travel and a huge power source... it could enable them to spread the Chaos to other galaxies as well... this is they had thought hard but these might allow it to be easily possible... the power made the civilisation figuratively drool... they would slaugher billions to get these Emeralds now... once he had assembled them all they would take him and the Emeralds and use them...

back onboard the Frigate Flagship

The TIN people, Tails and knuckles found themselves right outside where the Emerald had been kept... And surrounded by Moles and the 2 MUSRUMs.

The officer was shocked to see them suddenly appear, 'Agents of Eggman! Capture them!'

The Mole troops raised their Rifles and fired stun lasers at them all...

OOC: The fun of it, is that it may well turn out to be a big scrap at the end... plus you have just gone into several large Empires and nicked something they consider very valuable...

Knuckles lunged; driving his fists towards the Moles

"Now where are they!? and where are we?" he glanced about him.

Eggman looked in horror as the weapons flew towards them...

The weapons flew harmlessly through empty space. The Egg Cruiser was gone, and so was the white Emerald.

Somwhere near the Sol system

The Egg cruiser re-appeared in more bright light, and began to fly back to Earth.

"MWAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe we pulled that off!"

"Nicely done doctor!"

"Now, back to Earth, to plan our next move!"

The lasers somehow missed Knuckles, and 2 of the mole Guards were takne by surprised by Knuckles' speed, and were knocked out instantly.

Knuckles stopped. "Fine...But don't hurt him. He has been wronged; just like you...As have I. Someone is gathering the Emeralds for a sinister purpose; even the Master Emerald is gone; and I feel that something darker seeks these things...The Emeralds harken to chaos....And Chaos values them above all else; gifted with the power of the 7, or of the Master; they could unleash untold havoc and death"

The officer took a closer look at the Man... 'Of course, sorry sir, forgive me sir... I didn't reconise you... It was just... nevermind... Who are these two? Do you travel around with talking animals now?'

"Read here... It says that with 4 Emeralds, he will be resistant to attack. That means the vessel he uses will now be much more powerful, and heavily defended. We need reinforcements."

Gregory then activated his commlink.

"This is Grand Admiral Gregory, calling for a full assemblement of the Imperial Fleet right now! Rondevouz at these co-ordinates!"

The officer was about to speak when the Captain arrived, 'What is going on here? Grand Admiral... How did you get aboard this ship?'
