MWN Report

Catholics all around the country of Malatose are being rounded up and deported.Although there have been no resistance...2 MVD Units have reported small shootouts with catholic resistance.Head Chief of the MVD had these words

"Catholics are enemies of the people. They disrespect our government and break our laws.As of right now, this is there day of judgment"-said Chief of the MVD.
The Populus Dei
23-07-2004, 02:57
The Holy Republic of the Populus Dei will also accept peace-loving Catholics from Malatose as refugees, in showing of extreme disapproval with the new Malatosian policy.

However, we encourage the Malatosian leadership to take into custody the members of the reported "Catholic resistance." These people, in contradiction to the facets of Roman Catholic doctrine, have only contributed to the unrest within the Malatosian borders.

The Holy Republic will NOT accept members of the "Catholic resistance" as refugees.
The Irish Isle

The Irish Isle, in good faith, gladly opens its borders to all Catholics, including the catholic resistance forces, and grants them asylum in The Irish Isle. Make it known that the Empire greatly disagrees with the actions taken by the Malatose government but, regretfully accepts their decision and hopes to continue on good terms with Malatose.

As an ally of Malatose we don't condemn the attack; however, we would be pleased if Malatose considered deporting the Catholics to Spain. Malatose knows well that the Macabee Empire will disallow them to take revenge on Malatose.

His Royal Excellence King Tendaeus XIX reports that he: highly approves of the actions against these misguided "Catholics". His only regret is that the Catholics are not being forcefully persuaded into realization of the true religion- worship of the Creator.

In retaliation, Secretary General Brezhnekov has officially overturned the supreme courts ruling regarding atheism.
He has also declared it perfectly legal to use all means neccessary to remove all remaining atheists from Whittier.
Further, all anti religious tracts are to be burned. We accept the popes offer of a crusade to help us remove all athiests from our nation.

Will we be able to gather around 100 of these speciment... err, humans? We are working on genetics, and we feel they will be just perfect.
Artoonia
23-07-2004, 07:41
By decree of His Most Serene, Enlightened Imperial Majesty Artu I, Artoonia hereby opens its doors and arms to Malatosian Catholics and Whittieran athiests alike, and offers both groups full Artoonian citisenship.

(Actually, any person who says (s)he wants asylum can pretty much get in to Artoonia without much of a follow-up, so long as (s)he has a story that at least sounds superficially convincing. Our immigrations agents, like most government officials, are pretty lazy and long ago realised that it's easier to stamp a form than read a book, so they just assume anywhere that someone might be coming from has more oppression than we do.)

Malatose, we are glad to hear that you re-affirmed they will not be harmed.

We also ask that you do not send those people to Philenax, who made it quite clear he will be using them as experiments. Philenax, we request you refrain from using humans as a science project. If we find you are doing that, we will take action.
Malatose

Dont worry,We already had intentions to deny Philenax of his request. We will not allow any human being to be tested on.

ooc: how realistic is this thread? For one thing, the theoretical justification is garbled. The 1917 revolution, its true, overthrew the Tsar and with him the religious character of the Russian state. But it was replaced NOT with official atheism, but with religious freedom, at least in theory. No Marxist party has ever called for banning religion, although often for curbing the power of religious institutions. A related question is why are Catholics being singled out.

Secondly, Maltose has moved too quickly. It hasn't explained how many Catholics there are and how they are being deported. Same goes for the atheists in Whittier. It's like when Mississippi invaded Egypt in an hour, and then Libya, deporting and massacring millions, insisting that they couldn't return, then turning around and letting them all back in. You just can't shift masses of people around that fast.

Sorry to be a wet blanket

We have over 10,000 C-130s and hundreds of other transports (Helicopters, airplanes, and boats) so we can transport people quite rapidly.

Hey I'm still waiting for my allies to RP with me the finishing off of Lebanon and Syria. I'm waiting on them.

Santa - I quote from the Manifesto: "Religion is the opium of the people"

IC:

We are glad that Malatose accepts are proposal. C-130s and dozens of transport ships will be sent to Malatose to take on the Catholics. All we require is that they are put in chains - in order to ensure they all get on.

If the Malatose would like to confiscate their belongings please do so - we feel nothing for them...lol... they will receive government welfare funds to rebuild their lives.
