At the Southern Ports of the USIH, the massive shapes of blacked out carriers could been seen slowly moving out of their docking areas.
One by one the carriers formed up with their escorts and headed out to sea. They were part of the Reforger Exercise that was about to take place and was involving most of the USIH Military. After a two month stand-down for maintenance this fleet was moving out to take its part in the exercise.
The exercise focused on the landing of 3 Army Corp's into a hostile enviroment preceeded by a naval task force to clear a sizeable area for the troops ships to use for landing. Upon landing the Army corps would move directly into combat with an entrenched enemy in prepared defensive positions.
Forces involved would be a combination of USIH, Holy Empire of Abrams, and Empire of Redge forces, with units from both sides playing defenders and attackers. There was heavy emphasis on the attacking commanders to try out strategies recently developed by Combined HQ and other leading military minds. The exercise also focus's on combining the might of the three participating nations military into an effective force each capable of helping the others.
This exercise is the biggest in USIH history and involves the Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force in unprecedented numbers. Unit strengths and indentifications are unknown at the time although this exercise involves the entire Southern (7th) Fleet with the 6th Fleet further out to sea to protect against any real threat that may emerge during the wargames.
OOC: This is a direct rehersal as it were for intervention on the Ackcasal(sp wrong i know) front and also shows the combination of nations and how well we can work together. Redge and Abrams will be posting later today to confirm their involvement.
