New Age of Warfare

Brad-dur

The scientists of Brad-dur discovered another remaining element of the periodic table about 20 years ago, however, we decided to keep it secret as we performed a vast aray of experiments it. However, at this point we are ready to unveil Chaseonium.

Thorugh the vast tests we have applied to the material we have discovered that it is only in one area of the world...Under the water of Brad-dur's Emperial Harbour. In the hopes of keeping the world away from its potentially dangerous form, we have not only found a way to neutralize the bacterium that is used to create the explosive variable of the element (thus no WMDs can be made, that we know of) BUT, at the same time we have found a way to harness its energy. The entire state of Brad-dur is now running on a single 1890 gram block of Chaseonium, and tests show it can sustain us with all the power we could want to run a multi-billion populated country for over 600 years.

We are now prepared to sell one block to each nation of mass 1500 grams, for $900 Billion each. We realize this is a hefty price, but remember all the electricty prices are hiking up, and all you need is one 1500 gram block to run a whole country of about 982 Million people.

Brad-dur will not disclose any other information regarding the use of this new element until further tests have been performed.

-Emperial State of Brad-dur

P.S.) This element is VERY Environmentally Friendly! SAVE THE TREES!

So...What atomic number is it?
Brad-dur

120

I want one.
If I may research it, 1 trillion.
If not, 900 billion.

Research is certainly open. Also, depending on the size of your country (population) we will increase the amount you recieve.

$1 Trillion will certainly be acceptable.

We just passed the billion people, so we have enough combined with our solar energy.
I will try to use it in cars, trains and various other things, so the gas usage will be brought down to about 1%, and electric driving will be the 99%.
Eventually, we will ban any other form of transportation than electric busses/cars or just plain bikes.

Yes, Brad-dur is on the same road as you! SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT is a huge message the government sends to its people here. Let us know if you find any more use out of this discovery.

 You realise something with atomic number of 120 would only be stable for less than a millisecond!
Brad-dur
07-03-2004, 18:46
Aye! A good point indeed, but remember, we have been testing this for over 20 years, we have determined the factors needed to make it quite stable. Have no worries!

I think he was refering to the point that such an unstable element would not be collectable, as it would disentergrate as soon as you got it unsealed. . .

You insult Brad-dur's world leading experts who have worked hard for over 20 years to make an element much more stable. Are you trying to say we HAVE NO such element? IF so then why would we try to decieve the world, it would be folly. If you would like to buy some then say so, but if you are going to insult our scientists then do so through a telegram.

OOC: He's just saying science isn't on your side and that you're not being... realistic?

It's not an in character insult to your nation, it's an piece of out of character advice.

Aye, but obviously nations who are skeptical are not taking into account that they are 20 years behind our science in this field of study, we have been keeping our tests on this element for the past two decades.

where can i get some
Taka

I'm not insulting you, I'm simply stating that it would be impossible to find the substance in nature, meaning that if it existed at all, it would be a synthetic element. Don't take this as a slam, I'm trying to help you out, not cut down your idea. Also, do note that you can only get x ammount of energy from any given ammount of mass.

basicly,

E=MC^2

where can i get some

I can sell you a 1500 gram block for £900 Billion.

OOC: And to Taka....The idea of "inventing" this stuff is just as possible as some of the Aircraft Carriers/weapons other people introduce.
Taka

I'm not saying that inventing this stuff is impossible, hell, I "Invented" unobtanium to save physics explainations for some of my stuff *you can thank Klonor for that*. Just offering a bit of creative critisism for you, if you want free and unlimited power, a singularity generators might be the best way to go. Throw your trash in, and produce power at nearly 90% efficientcy.
