Lapse researchers are today finishing research into a ISG or in other words an Intensified sound generator. The device, named Sonos, is capable of generating sound at high frequencies for a radius of 100 km using new iontechnology. The sound generators do not use speakers in any way but rather use direct energy that is passed through a series of subdevices and released in the form of sound. The device can run for 10 minutes at full intensity.
The extremely high frequencey, after been played for around 10 seconds will implode the brains of the creatures inside the radius..
The 2m cylindrical device is dropped from an aircraft, at high altitudes into the center of the targeted area. it is then remotly activated. Once activated it cannot be deactivated.
If the device does not kill people within the radius it will cause permanent brain damage.
Sofar, only 1 prototype has been built, but by the end of the year (1 rl day) Lapse wishes to have 50 of the devices
