A Rajabiztanie military convoy was ambushed today while travelling from the capital, Leningrad to the fortress town of Shervotski. the onvoy consisted of three saxons one guarding each end and one in the middle. A few 4 tonners and a few Gradular tanks. it was also escorted by a team of soldiers and two apache choppers.

The convoy was esocrting three moblie SAM, transporters for repair and overhaul.

The convoy was thought to have been attacked by the anti UN terrorist group EHT. Due to this attack, all the "cold-war" type conflict against Shildona has been withdrawn in our part, no hostilities will be started by us.

We have locked down our cities and marshall law has been imposed.

Recon aircraft have been deployed and every inch of our country can bee patrolled remotly.

I'm am writing to all nations in the UN and for that matter, thoughout to world, for a international force to be deployed against this new age terrorism threat.

The ARSB will send a single light armed reconnaisance unit to assist in your efforts, the unit will contain 34 SIV-02 infantry combat vehicles (three configured as mortar vehicles, 4 configured as AA missile batteries, 3 configured as AA gun batteries, two configured for surface-surface/anti-tank missiles engagements, and two command vehicle variants) , 25 SIV-11 advanced armored personnel carriers, 16 VAT-01 anti-tank vehicles, and 360 soldiers.

At 13:01 the elements of the Austican Armed Forces will begin patrols.
The Welsh Gaurds forces will move inland into your nation to route out any terrorist forces which may be present. These forces will be suplemented by one high altitude flying E-P3 Orion. The Royal Austican Air Force has ensured a flight plan of the E-P3's which will ensure that there will be an aircraft in the air 24 hours a day. F/A18's will also be employed to surgically strike terrorist bases.

Other army forces will patrol the borders and will be aided by elements of the air force currently on the ground.

Given the recent strained relationship between our two nations, the People's Republic is concerned by this large military build-up. We request that those taking part in these "anti-terrorist" operations respect the sovereignty of the People's Republic, and not partake in any offensive actions against our nation that may be implemented by the Rajabiztanie Government.

The ambush of your forces is outrageous! These continued terrorist threats plaguing many great nation states must be brought under control.

May I suggest that in future your convoys be heavily armoured. The Fuhrer has seen the need for greater security in transportation, and has thus called for underground rail networks to be established for transportation of such things as military hardware. While this network will take 4 years to build across our own nation, convoys will now have guards doubled.

Do you mean actual cavalry or a helicopter force as the term is now used for? If you mean actual cavalry, I would suggest not using them for modern warfare, as they are worthless. The only time in modern combat they were successful was when some Polish Hussars launched a surprise attack on German troops during WWII, but even then they were soon slaughtered by machine guns. Hell, the only reason they were successful were 1) surprise and 2) they look so damn bada$$. Seriously, wouldn't you be scared if you saw these guys running at you?

The Kingdom of Austica joins with Kyneton in condemning the actions of Austantopia in attacking the PR of Shildonia. We will not however intervene, for we do not have the available forces in the region.

Um...your a bit young to be ICBMing anyone, and your godmoding further by being able to just have an unqualified force suddenly attacking your enemy. Furthermore your actions could very well precipitate reactions from other nations that would otherwise sympathize with your goals, but in this case would be radically against your means, and thereby condemn you, as has already been done.

But seeing as you have so few posts, and the horrendous quality of the above post, I doubt you'll read this, and if you do, you'll know that Tremalkier has shined the Ray of Ignoritude upon you. Your weapons have not touched that nation.

Austantopia: If you can answer me these questions three, then I won't ignore you.
Question the First: Do you realise that by launching the ICBM you will become eligible for a full nuclear assault in retaliation? Because that's what's gonna happen.
2: What aircraft did you use to do the bombing raids, and how did they manage to penetrate the Shildonian Air Defences?
3: What launched the Exocets? If it's ships, how did they get into missile range without being fired on. If it's aircraft, how did they get into missile range without being seen by an AWACs(exocets only have a range of 65km), and then fired on. Remember, the only reason the Argentinians were able use Exocets in the Falklands without being seen was because the Royal Navy didn't have any AEW aircraft.

Now if you really want war with me, then redo your previous post, only with more details and lose the ICBM attack(otherwise it'll be MAD, only you'll be the only one destroyed).

Austantopia is a nation of 108 million people. Although the Kingdom has not posted often (in fact only 2 times), we are by no means a young nation. Our economy is listed as thriving, therefore considering our size, and our economy, it is plausable that we may in fact possess the weaponary to attack your nation. We have decided to attack your nation because we are deeply concerned by your assumptions that we nations operating in you neighbour may be planning an attack. We believe that you are planning an attack on other nations, and we plan to preempt that attack. So, I will answer your questions one by one, then I will, in detail explain our opening to war.

1) Yes I do realise this. That is why the purpose of our strikes would be to knock out your ICBM sites. Of course we will not destroy them all - therefore we must enable our missile defence program to destroy incomming missiles from your nation

2) The aircraft used in the raids were F/A18 Super Hornets. They escaped your radar because they flew low and fast (under the radar). That your air defences did not pick them up, is probably a matter for you to work out with your army. I cannot explain why they did not see us - ask them!

3) Once more your questions are those you should ask your navy, army and airforce. The exocets were fired by A-4 Sky Hawk fighters launched from a small aircraft carrier in the sea nearby. The Exocets are seaskimming missiles which make it highly possible that they would strike unseen.

Those are the answers to your questions.

Now to the attack.

A Naval blockade has been formed made up of twelve vessels including one aircraft carrier, carrying A4 Skyhawks armed with Exocet missiles and AIM120 AMRAAM's and Maverick missiles. The carrier launched a flight of six Skyhawks out of the eight Skyhawks, which will fly low under the radar in bound towards the Shildonian fleet. Once they have reached range, they will release their weapons. Two from each aircraft will be fired strategically amongst the ships of the Shildonian fleet. The aircraft then return to the carrier, with just enough fuel to spare. One aircraft is lost however - running low on fuel 15 km out from the battle group. A Mk50 Sea King helicopter is launched to pick up the pilot. The operation is executed successfully, the Sea King returns well.

Meanwhile the only two submarines in the Ballistic Missile fleet rise to launch depth, and open outer doors. Both submarines carry 15 ICBM's armed with nuclear warheads. On the captains command both subs launch all their weapons. Four ICBM's are fired at the capital of Shildonia whilst the others are fired at Shildonia's strategic ICBM missile sites throughout the country of Shildonia.

At the same time, Austantopian Home forces enact all missile defence batteries, and Guided Missile Cruisers off the coast, carrying SM2-ER SAM are deployed to search for and shoot down any incomming missiles.

Moving in from another carrier located nearby the other fleet, F/A18 Super Hornets carrying strike missiles including HARM missiles, as well as undercarriage fuel tanks fly inbound to bomb southern airbases. All but two of the Hornet's return to base reporting direct hits on all targets - however the Royal Austantopian Navy is awaiting a Shildonian report on the damages.

As we await a Shildonian report, an Amphibious ready group is being assembled with 50,000 troops on stanby ready to invade.

Firstly, you obviously haven't read any of the other threads concerning the situation between Shildonia and Rajabiztan. IF you had then you will know that it was Rajabiztan that made the first threats of invasion, and that Shildonia has made no offensive acts whatsoever, other than to condemn their attempts to build nuclear weapons. Kindly do research before lobbing nukes around like it's Bonfire Night.
Also, even if we were planning an attack, there is no reason whatsoever for you to launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack to defend a nation that you have no relationship with whatsoever. A much more prudent action would have been to send troops to defend Rajabiztan, and warn against
Secondly, while you may be able to fly at low altitude to escape ground based radar, you can't fly low enough to escape AEW aircraft. Carriers have E-2s, E-3s are flying overland. Hence you would have been seen and intercepted.
Thirdly, there is no way you can have a missile defence system. Even the US doesn't have one that works, and they have more than twice your population, and a much better economy. If they don't have one, you can't have one.
Fourthly, the Shildonian Fleet is not sitting around my coastline. It is spread out over much of the world in 20 carrier groups, most of which will begin heading towards your coastline as soon as your first attack is made.
Now if you want to attack me, then fine. But if you use nuclear weapons in your first post, then I will use my nuclear weapons and the entire thing will be over in two post, and no one will have any fun whatsoever. Now unless you drop the nukes, and RP moving the forces into position (I have Nimrods patrolling 24\7 so don't think you can suddenly appear off the coast without being seen) then I will just do what everyone else has already done and ignore you. You might also want to read the background to this dispute and perhaps rethink your strategy. Superpowers might be able to take action like this, but for you to do it is like Mexico launching attacks against the US to defend Iraq.
