Sorry to burst your bubble but a brand new C-130 Hercules costs $50 000 000, not $1 000 000.

hey, wait a second. If this isn't a resureccted nation, i'm withdrawing my funds and order. How the hell did u get these?

This is just what I'm looking for to help deal with CorpSac's refugee crisis.

C-130s are 1 million each eh?

Give me 100 of em (regular cargo variants)- that should cost 100 million dollars.

lol, who am I to complain? I just picked up 100 C-130s for hardly nothing....what a steal!

actually dude, there are a set of rules against this. Your prices are godmodding. You would be losing a lot of money at 1mil a plane and there aint no way you could produce / afford them.

Actually, unless you have a very good reason (surplussing parts at a loss to get rid of them in a hurry and raise small amounts of immediate cash) selling at insanely low prices is godmodding (barred in this forum section.)

I would ask that you either alter the prices, clarify your thread, or ask that this thread be moved to the NS forum, where RP ettiquite is not enforced.

Fine,i change the price of C-130 Hercules to $50 million.Happy now?I don't understand why changing the price to something lower would be godmodding?
10-11-2003, 21:07
because of the production costs. maybe 10% less yeah but not that low
10-11-2003, 21:07
There is a sticky on the forum that gives prices or price suggestions. Use that or Google.
Stone River

Stone River has no need to buy military vehicles from others. We recently obtained contracts to build American military equipment, and our burgeoning industry is more than capable of producing everything we need. Our military isn't large, but it's one of the most technologically advanced.

It has to do with realism and the propagation of insane budgets/material/etc. Nation A sells insanely cheap fighters, then Nation B buys a whole buncha planes, and then invades Nation C with an air force ten times larger than they could possibly support in a realistic view of things.

Then, half the time, Nation A goes and claims gross revenue from sales to Nation B as profit, and buys a whole lotta junk that they could never afford from Nation D, and it goes downhill from there. We let fly a great deal of unrealistic RP regarding storefront threads, but we have to draw the line somewhere to make for good RP.

Ir's simple why the price can't be so low-you'd be losing profit on it. If it costs 1 or 2 milion to make-why would you sell it for 2hundred thousand? All the materials, computers, etc. cost more than what you're selling them for.
