Due to recent actions by the Klonor Ship Store, as well as accusations made by rival companies, the Klonor Government is considering placing severe restrictions on the Store, which is reported to be nothing but a money-grubbing monopoly.

As an inside government source said: "The KSS is nothing but a monopoly. They've existed longer than everybody else, nobody has a chance to even gain a foothold. It's stifiling the growth of other people, as well as severly limiting job growth."

A press release today from the CEO of Guanyu Aerospace Technologies:

"Speaking as an aspiring competitor I support the KSS completely. They do as much business as they do because they sell good ships, it's as simple as that. It gives us smaller stores something to measure ourselves against and is a good example for those wishing to start their own store."

ZNN -- Dan Bother Reporting.

"... and in economic news, the APoZ is reporting that the country of Klonor is threatening to crack down on the KSS. The KSS is that nation's largest ship-producing company and is being accused of holding a monopoly on the market. This action has caused the scheduling of press conferences from the CEOs of the Zeltecan companies of 'DitzGo Oil' and the 'Parry Motor Company'. Darren Dodson, the Zeltecan government's leading commercial regulator had the following to say; "

--- The show cuts to a clip of Darren. ---

" We would like to open talks between our commercial department and our counterparts in Klonor to discuss their economic growth through the freedoms granted by deregulation,"

--- The camerca shifts back to Dan, who continues with other news. ---

In response to news about KSS, the CEO of the Syntec Corporation, Josef Dravis, had little to comment, other than:

"Excellent...ahem, I mean, it's good to see a government taking action against a monopolizing company in order to promote industrial and economic growth growth across the universe and...uh...yeah."

when asked about this recent action of the Klonor government, the CEO of ASX Manufacturing mentioned he was pleased to hear this, while the CEO of CJX Heavy Space Industries had no comment. It has been rumored that CJX is secretly building a monopoly of their own.

OOC: You could limit yourself by placing a production limit on what you can make for export within a given period of time; something to reflect the finite shipyard facilities you'd be able to allocate.

--- A press conference room at the Parry Motors Company ---
-- The room is filled with anxious reporters, waiting impatiently to ask questions --
- James Dennisen stands a a podeum, ready to speak -

"First off, I would like to express my deepest concerns at the actions taken by the government of Klonor. It goes without stating that the nations such as Klonor and Zeltec, and countless others depend on their major companies and corporations to prop their economy by providing thousands and in some cases hundreds of thousands of jobs in one fell swoop. As the leading automobile manufacturer in Zeltec, my company employs nearly 3,000,000 people in some form or another, be it through legal, corporate, manufacturing, sales, or one of several other sectors. It would be a tradgedy if President Emonsha decided that I should have to bend the knee to unions, and an even greater tradgedy should my company wish to move it's manufacturing jobs to Trichst or Shady Pines if, say... a minimum wage law was passed? Or one requiring health benefits be given to laymen and the like."

"On a second note, I wish to remind Mr. Dravis from the Syntec Corporation that economic regulation of this type seems to spread like a virus. It can only weaken our respective companies if this travesty is allowed to pass. Why, your encouragement alone may even prompt your own nation's government to call the Syntec Corporation a monopoly. Perhaps you will reconsider this issue when the government of Super American VX Man decides it is time to force the leadership of corporations to bend the knee to the workers we employ, yes?"

- With that, Mr. Dennisen takes a hasty leave towards the back, ignoring the thunder of hundreds of questions. -
