This one just got submitted for approvals, and covers both Landmines and Cluster munitions, both currently hotly debated. I felt that while use of these weapons is not condonable, we cannot administer a blanket ban.
The point of this resolution is that instead of BANNING the use of a weapon, it is reviewed and categorised, which determines weather it is permitted for use, and under what circumstances.
It came from the fact that i think Cluster bombs and Landmines DO HAVE THEIR uses, but that they needed to be curtailed in use.
BELIEVING that a nation has the right to defend itself against foreign aggression.
BELIEVING that a nation has the right to store munitions and keep them in readiness.
NOTING HOWEVER that many weapons are not acceptable for use in offence against foreign nations.

CATEGORISES weapons into three categories:
1: Standard
The weapon is acceptable for use during times of threat.
2: Defensive Class 1
The weapon may be used on foreign targets ONLY as a result of the government present there launching an attack.
3: Defensive Class 2
The weapon is unacceptable for use against foreign targets. The weapon is only authorised for use within the defending nations own borders.

ESTABLISHES the World Assembly Weapons Review Board WAWRB to review weapons and classify them accordingly.
IMMEDIATELY CLASSIFIES
a) Cluster munitions ( i.e A munition which deploys a series of smaller munitions, including landmines ) as defensive class 2.
b) Landmines ( Both Anti-tank and Anti-personnel ) as Defensive class 2
c) Nuclear Weapons as Defensive class 1

DEMANDS that all chemical and biological weapons be submitted for review within one month of this resolution being passed.
BANS the use of uncategorised weapons, excluding during testing, in which case only within the nations own borders, and not against human or animal targets.
ESTABLISHES a one year blockade of any WA nation that breaks this resolution, not allowing export of any form, to run concurrently with any standing WA blockade.
I am looking for approvals ( Obviously ) but i also would like to get your views on how this resolution could be improved.
