NS has been real messed up lately. Normally it's been the jolt forums though...not NS itself.

Yep its down, at least these days the forums don't go down with it. Unless something major happens of course.

On a positive note, this is a first time in at least couple weeks the game's server has been down this long. I bet that even couple months old nations can remember how NS has been down on weekly basis.

Hey...I'm not worried. Look at my creation date. Back in my day, you couldn't access the forums for 22 hours of the day, and when you could, you'd be lucky to get back to back posts in without doubleposting.

not to sound ungreatful (as i know there must be a team of midget monkeys some where working on the problem being suplied with banana pizza's and red pop (by fish with aems and hands)), but could we get some update on what the problem is or when it might get fixed?

My main nation is an August 2003 nation. The old forums didn't courage me to write because of the problems you mentioned (and I got rarely anything worth of mentioning). Then again, I've always prefered the game over the NS forums. :eek:
Yes, believe it or not we do tend to be aware of when the server goes on and admin has been working to get it back up.

Double posts? I remember I had quintuplets once or twice. Even in the best of days the old server was twisted, in that ghastly nuclear mutation way.
And people always thought it was because I clicked multiple times on "submit reply." Pfft! The server, I say, the server was to blame!

Look at MY creation date boy, then whine about accessing the forums! Why back in my day we had to run to each other's computers if we were using IRC and type our messages becuase the internet was only two plastic cups joined by a length of string.
Complaining about forum unreliability are we? Why back in MY day the forums crashed so often we'd wear asbestos underpants to avoid chafing the joy department. You young'uns have no concept of hardship! If I hear one more complaint, I'm going to unplug the internet. Don't look at me like that-- I've warned you before and the Great-Centipede-In-The-Sky watches all.
