My nation Beeks was deleted...as I was regional founder...is there any way that I can now access the regional panel...I am going to ask my fellow un members to make me regional delegate...but the panel was only open to me as Beeks originally...is there any way you can sort it?

Hmm...intresting problem. :?

I would think that since this nation is not Beeks, you would have to go through the delegate process again. Even though it was the same person, it's a diffrent nation.

Sorry buddy. Just tell your region what happened, I'm sure they will understand!

(Please note that what I say means nothing over what a mod says. So I could be complety off on this one...)

I think what he means, Bas, is that as Founder, he'd locked off the region from the delegate. Meaning that even if he was elected to delegacy, there's not a bloody thing he could do. Am I right, Beek?

In that case, I would suggest getting the word out to your regionmates, get them all to move out, and refound the region.

That is exactly what I mean...but I really cant be bothered upping up sticks again...when Beeker was deleted I had to move from Beeker Island to Beeker Isle...I dont want to drag my region members to another home again... :?

If a region doesn't have their founder present in the region (for whatever region .. the founder can even be alive and somewhere else) then the delegate cannot be locked out, even if they check the "disallow delegate access to conrtol panel" box ... it just doesn't register the change. If you become delegate, you should be able to access the control panel just fine.

But the change was made before the founder left the region.

In that case I think that it's undone. Basically, if there is a deleagte for the region and not a founder, the delegate has access to the panel. I would think the "delegate has access" check goes something like this:
If( delegateIsBlocked && founderIsInRegion ) => cannotAccessRCP
Else => canAccessRCP
So that the delegate can block themselves off when there is no founder, but since the founderIsInRegion is still false, the whole statement is false and the delegate can access the panel.

Can the current delegate access regional control?

Can the current delegate access regional control?

If there were a delegate, yes.
