help with taxes

I'm having some trouble getting my tax rate down. It seems to refuse to go below 73% no matter what I do. I make decisions that I think will lower it and improve my economy, but they don't seem to be helping. I was wondering first, if it is even possible to lower it again once it hits that number, and how one might go about doing it? Tips and advice are greatly appreciated.

1.) Drop out of the UN.- very important
2.) Answer the issues correctly- let people do what they want.

If you do this successfully then you will have no tax rate. I have nothing but country still thrives in it's economy. An anarchy might be up your alley.

one thing you must understand is that you can't have your cake and eat it. You want healthcare? you want public transport? you want education? maybe a strong army? want about your police force, think it needs significant funding? want to avoid having people dying of starvation out on the streets of your capital? all of the above require money, which isn't going to come from nowhere. You can lower your taxes (although its hard to do, because the game lacks issues for that), but you must realise that every monetary sign less in your government's tax income is one less monetary sign you can use to improve your people's lives.

I have the same problem, but it refuses to drop below 100%. I believe that might be the reason my nation is not recognised as anarchist. Or maybe that is due to the low crime rates, since NS anarchy is what real anarchists call oclarchy, AKA mob reign.

Drop out of UN. In issues, if you have the option of less taxes, always take it. But if that option does not exist, do not worry, I spend large amounts of money, and have a 0% tax rate.
