Public Notice to All Interested Parties:

The Brotherhood of Nod has recently found several valuable object in it's archives, most of which are from it's days when the Brotherhood operated mainly in what was formerly the Soviet Union. Since these are of no use to the Brotherhood, but are worth money, some of these may be auctioned in the near future, starting tomorrow with the sale of a Fabergé egg. This egg (see picture below), given by Alexander III to his wife in 1885, will be auctioned tomorrow at the Brotherhood Ministry of Trade in Cairo. All interested parties are hereby invited to attend this auction, whether they be governments, private institutions, trade consortia or other persons or organizations. Any ruling body, person, corporation or institution from the Eternal Noldorin Empire of Menelmacar is prohibited from bidding under the Metus Treaty clause 3, of which the Brotherhood of Nod is a signatory nation. Bidding will start tomorrow, at the Ministry of Trade in Cairo. Bidding will begin at 12:00 BMT (Brotherhood Mean Time), at a starting price of C100.000. Brotherhood Credits are the only accepted currency. At the moment one credit equals 3,21 US Dollars or 3,71 Euros.

Quick OOC sum up: I'm selling that thing above, send someone to Cairo in person to join the auction, bid in credits, Menelmacar not allowed (nothing personal :) ), I'll make a new thread when for the auction itself. Link will be in this thread.

Alysa noted the item in her dailing news briefings and smiled, "That'd make a good gift..." She decided to attend the auction, hoping that people wouldn't be too insane with their bids.

Arranging a flight from GMC to Nod was surprizingly easy, and she soon found herself on the way to the airport, a brief note already on its way ahead of her.

To whom it may concern,

I noticed that you were auctioning a beautiful Fabergé egg, and I would like very much to bid for ownership. I will be on the next flight from Marshall Island to Cairo. I look forward to visiting your country, and, hopefully, winning the auction.

Yours,

- Alysa Anderson

Elash Mîriel read through the Nod communiqué several times. She considered it a rather strange and odd thing to end up on her desk, but it was somewhat relevant. She passed it on to the Emperor and received it back again, with a little note on the bottom, “purchase this.”

And so, after looking for the appropriate contact details the purchasing agent the office had on Earth for such things, the necrontyr woman sent it on, and very shortly, a short man with a mop of dark hair, who looked as though he’d been crammed into his suit by force, and put up quite a struggle in the process, an anonymous buying agent, which of course meant that he bought for anonymous patrons, his name of Hans Petersen was freely available, arrived at the Ministry of Trade…
