Am I the only one who thinks that is incredibly weird?
I wonder if he can see into my bathroom...

Marx's thoeries praise lazziness, while Smith's thoeory praise hard work. Capitalism looks horrible on paper, but in real life it is the best economic thoery that anyone has come up with. And seriously, if you look at any other country without a libertarian or capitalist economic status, you will either find a third world nation or destruction.

A few notes on Smith and Marx. I consider myself a socialist, but Marx's theories on scientific socialism are severely lacking. Marx did not work a day in his life, and he ignores out the most important factor of the human psyche, greed. Smith incorporates greed nicely into his theories but he, like Marx forgets the same thing, greed. Greed always goes too far, and in Capitalism, products are always made cheaper and cheaper in a boom and bust economy while the class system becomes more and more stratified as a result of greed.

I agree with alot of what you said Forestdom, but it does nto always end up in a third world nation or destruction, that usually results from a dictatorship. Such countrys such as Sweeden and Greece have less well known socialist systems with one of the highest standard of living.

I wonder if he can see into my bathroom...Yes, yes it can. And no, we wouldn't bother looking, there's nothing we'd see that we don't already have incriminating pictures of. :)

Adam Smith had some good things to say. More "capitalitalists" ought to read his work, they'd be surprised.
