OK, after seeing the Bumplord's goodbye thread, I have decided to figure out if it's really worth being a modern nation. I personally started playing this game because I wan't to command modern day forces.

Modern Wars, especially when it's played out well enough that I can include CNN-esque news reports from the front.
Character devolpment. Character are humans...well concious beings who will be effected by thier experiances. It is highly interesting to see your characters change due to what is going on, my character has gone a little bit...well...depressed is too weak a word. :)
