The following information was compiled November 24th, 2003, regarding various factors in the ethnic, cultural and racial make-up of Edolia.
As of November 24th, 2003, the population of Edolia was recorded at 1,246,000.
Races
94.2% Human -- 1,173,732,000*
2.4% Elven -- 29,904,000
2.1% Neko (Catperson) -- 26,166,000
1.3% Other assorted humanoids -- 16,198,000
*Human Ethnicities
24% Edolian-- 281,696,000**
24% Mandarin Chinese -- 281,695,000
19% Native Edolian -- 223,009,000***
12% Blatterschplitti Edolian -- 140,848,000****

**** A more Southern group who pillaged their way into what is now Edolia, founding the modern Empire. They are characterized by olive complexion and dark hair, similar to the Arabs.
***** A people conquered by the Empire. They live across the Haven Straits to the Southwest. They tend to be similar in complexion and looks to most central Europeans.

Conclusions
Though the census has not been conducted in great detail for some time due to the high cost of collecting data from such a large nation, we find these results to be extremely enlightening. The rising non-human population is especially startling and the arrival of both non-humans and a large population of Mandarin Chinese is especially interesting. Until recently Edolia was a rather homogenous society. We credit the rise of diversity in the country due to the immigration policies created by our beloved Imperator, Erik von Blatterschplitt. We look forward to conducting similar censi in the future and hope that their results will be similarly interesting.
